Glory Basin

A fabulous Tuesday Aug. 16 saw our group hike from Kokanee Hut to the Glory Basin, where we encountered the stunning Sapphire Lakes, walked through the Basin, and scrambled to the summit of Outlook Peak on a warm, blue-sky day. The entire trip was about 15Km, and for over 6 hours we enjoyed the fabulous scenery, much of it at or above treeline. Lots of streams, tarns, and a few lingering snow patches from last winter greeted our eager eyes. We hope to come back again!!
